Sallie Severns is a metrics driven marketer with over twelve years experience in user acquisition. After successfully launching education verticals for companies like Nextag and Announce Media/Answers.com, Sallie decided to focus on the underserved education market by creating a learning app, connecting students with academic Q & A in a group environment. Sallie holds a BA in English/Economics from UC Berkeley and has spent the past seven years focused specifically in education lead gen.

Chris Jennewein Chris Jennewein
iOS Developer

Chris manages the iOS development for Answer Underground. Chris was originally hired to manage the back end development, but quickly discovered that Chris was even more talented in iOS. Chris has a keen eye for detail, documentation and process. He embraces open source, daily scrums and has a "do whatever it takes" attitude.

Chris has a BA in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve Univ. and MS in Game Production and Management from the Univ. of Advancing Technology.

Keiron McCammon served as Co-Founder, CTO and VP of Products at Kaboodle, the number one online, social shopping site which grew to over fifteen million monthly visitors in 2009 and earned recognition as a top 150 ComScore property in the U.S, and was acquired by Hearst in 2007. Kerion served as Vice President and CTO at Versant and has over two decades of technology experience in both enterprise software and consumer web arenas. Keiron has over a decade experience in project management and is a pioneer in the online social space. Keiron holds a BS in Computer Science from Exeter University, in the United Kingdom.

Long-Ji is Chief Scientist at Rocket Fuel. He leads a data mining team, develops online ad targeting and optimization technologies. His experience includes page content categorization and keyword categorization, creating highly scalable 1000-category taxonomy infrastructure successfully.

Prior to RocketFuel, Long-Ji Lin was Chief Scientist at Kindsight Inc, a network-based security service and advertising company and Principal Scientist at Yahoo Inc.where he developed many successful products at Yahoo, such as Inventory Forecast, Creative Optimization, Behavioral Targeting, and Look-alike Modeling. He is a pioneer in behavioral targeting. Long-Ji Lin holds more than 30 patents. Long-Ji Lin holds a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.

Norman Shi Norman Shi
CTO Advisor

Norman is currently CTO at Invino where he leads a development team and spearheads all technical management. Prior to Invino, Norman was Sr. Director Advertising, Yahoo, Inc. He is a recognized expert in products involving semi-structured data processing and search engines. Norman also has extensive experience in online maps, mobile location based information system, spatial indexing, vehicle navigation and GPS tracking. Core competencies include statistical data analysis involving large data sets. Prior to Yahoo, Norman was a Manager of Engineering at Google for four years.
